Do you know what I could do to prevent windburn or sunburn on my precious gold thread cypress?

You can help your cypress stay healthy by planting it in a spot that's protected from the wind and sun. During the fall and spring, it's especially important to give it plenty of water.

I'd recommend protecting your plant in the winter by wrapping it loosely with burlap — not too tightly or using a snow cover.

I've had my Gold Thread Cypress plant for a while now, and I've never had to worry about the leaves burning or anything like that. But I'm happy to share what has worked for me. If you're planting it in a spot with a lot of sunlight, keep it away from the direct afternoon sun. This will help prevent the leaves from getting windburn or sunburn.

You can also find a spot for this plant near a building, a fence, or any other kind of windbreak.

My plant is doing really well! It never gets windburn or sunburn, and I think it's because I planted it in the right spot. I planted it among taller, stronger plants, and it's been doing great.
